Policies & FAQs

Here are the most popular asked questions

What are the benefits of using a pet sitter?
Your pet can stay in familiar surroundings while being cared for by a professional insured pet sitter. Your pet(s) will receive plenty of love and attention while in their own home and their routine will not be disrupted. A boarding facility can be a traumatic place for a pet. They are exposed to unfamiliar surroundings and the possible illness of other animals. A pet sitter will also watch over your home, notify you if there is a problem with your house or your pet and also bring in mail, turn on/off lights and take out the trash can.
What Services Do You Offer?

Each situation is unique therefore we offer a wide variety of services including; daily dog walking, pet sitting while you are away, and “Potty breaks”

What Areas Do You Serve?

We are currently serving:

North Kingstown 02852
East Greenwich 02818
Warwick 02886, 02888
West Warwick 02893 and most areas of Coventry 02816

What Methods of Payment Do You Accept?

We accept Checks, Cash, PayPal, Credit Cards and Venmo.

What information will I need during the introductory visit?

We will ask you to complete our online forms and your pet sitter will bring a copy of our service contract for you to keep. Some of the information needed is as follows; personal contact information, emergency contact information, veterinarian name & number, pet(s) information, pet medical history, and security system codes. We will also need a key to your home if this is how we will access the home vs. garage, code or lock box.

Why can't I ask a friend or neighbor to watch my pet?
Taking care of a pet is a huge responsibility and can be quite an imposition on a friend or relative. Most people are busy and may not be able to devote the time and attention your pet may require. We are bonded and insured for your peace of mind and we are equipped to handle an emergency should one arise. If your travel plans change we will be available to continue to care for your pet until you return as well.
How are my keys handled?
For your security, keys are labeled with your pet’s name only, not your name, address, or phone number and kept in a secure location of your pet sitters home.

Reservations

Reservations

It is best to plan several weeks in advance in order to obtain pet sitting services on the dates you desire. A complimentary in-home interview is required prior to reservations for all new clients. While I can tentatively pencil in your dates, it’s important I meet with you and your pet(s) in order to determine your needs before either of us makes a commitment to providing care for your pets. I always like to have a short walk with dogs so we can get to know each other. Of course there is no charge for this greeting.
